The Travellers Guide to Morocco

Golf Courses in Morocco

Morocco is an excellent destination for golf with a climate to be appreciated, particularly through the winter, some superb courses, and all within 3 hours of most major European cities.

The growth of golf courses in Morocco is certainly, or at least parly, due to the previous king, King Hassan II, being a keen and accomplished golfer. And of course, the Royal Dar es Salam Golf Club in Rabat hosts the annual Hassan II Trophy, the trohy president being His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid.

You won't exactly tripping over golf courses although new ones have been built at a surprising rate in the last few years, but you will need to seek them out - with our help.
